Summary[]
Ebonfeather was a character played by Leif Arne in the Valkyre campaign.
Origin[]
Once, the kendani Ebonfeather was a mightily powerful demon. He ruled over great stretches of land in both Hell and on the Illysian continent. Scorches of greater and lesser demons where under his rule in the golden age of his power. He was both feared and respected. His true name, however, was only know by those closest to him, and the true shape of his physical appearance was even less known. It was rumored that his body was of true shade, and not physical at all. This might have been the reason why he was able to hide from the public eye of his minions.
Despite all his power, Ebonfeather was eventually defeated by a powerful mage. The mage died in the attempt, but was also able to destroy Ebonfeathers physical body in the process. When the demons soul was ripped from his body, it instinctively searched for a new host. All he could find was a lonely raven circling the sky, and so this was to be his new body. Ebonfeather shaped it to his will to make it more powerful, but with this small body came limitations, and he was only able to create a tengu. And so, the once greatly powerful Ebonfeather became a far less powerful kendani. He fled from the seat of his power in shame, and never returned.
For almost twenty years, Ebonfeather traversed the lands of the Illysian continent i search of new power, but with no luck. He was loneley, and grew more bitter as the years passed. In the end, he met the wise and calm centaur Sigon Wisecick who became determined to help this lost soul.
And so their their adventures began.
